Poetry Challenge- Inspire , Humor, Go For It!

I can recall the day I spent
Pondering with wonderment
Winter's silent sacrament
Of seeds nesting in the soil
Of man resting from his toil

Days don't pass they surely fly
In winter's blinding lullaby
While hidden rainbows in the sky
Fall briskly to the ground
And kiss away the sound

A sunset on a cornfield plowed
Covered in a snowy shroud
Miles away my thoughts are now
They sleep with all that lives
'Til spring a new life gives

A New Poem...Come On Family, Show Your Stuff!

An ode to useless things

A spoiler on a minivan
A shoeshine for a barefoot man
A chain on a vaulted ceiling fan
Useless
