hey dudes.

We played in chicago again this week and had a great night. We are starting to draw a bit of a crowd when we play there. It is really encouraging to us (the band) when people are into what we are doing. The band recently went down to three members. This show in chicago was our first show as a three piece, and went quite well. We are using a sweet technology that allows us to play the pre-recorded guitar tracks through their amps as if the other two guitarists were actually there. We have been recording for the past couple months and are getting ready to start mixing the album. I was in a band in college called 'Arms and the Boy' and my friend from that band is going to mix it for us. He is now living in Colorado and works for a studio as an engineer. We are really happy with the music that we have created and are excited to see where things could go. We have sent a press kit to a record label that we really like called Ghostly International. http://www.ghostly.com/. There are located out of Ann Arbor, MI. We are hoping that they are interested in what we are doing. I think you all know that I would love to be making music for a living full time. That is most likely not going to happen any time soon (or ever). However, I am not opposed to the idea of being "Bi-Vocational"!

Angie's belly has really started to pop out the past couple weeks. You can totally tell she is prego now. It was a bit surreal to hear that we are having a girl. It is so exciting! My heart doesn't know what to do with the energy I feel when I think about her. I joke with Angie that there will be 4 (EDIT previous word) lovely women in our house now!

for now,
love
